Kiara follows, unaware that the stones are actually crocodiles. Zira tells her daughter that she will die too if she will not fight, which turns the other Outlanders against her and they join Simba's side. Zira blames Nuka's death on Kovu and slashes him across the face, giving Kovu a scar resembling Scar's. Concept Artwork for Kiara and Kovu. As they walk, they discuss the true nature of Scar, but they are ambushed by Zira and the Outsiders. After being told by the rest of the Lion Guard that Scar used the Roar for evil, Kion defeated the Outsiders with the Roar of the Elders which sent them flying to the Outlands' termite mound area which became their base of operations.
Kiara offers to help, but Zira, unwilling to let go of her hatred, commits suicide by allowing herself to fall into the raging river below. Although she has a prominent appearance in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, she makes a cameo appearance in The Lion Guard. Being so learned in the ways of the animals, Basi is knowledgeable and wise. But soon enough, the hyenas start a stampede in the herd and Kiara becomes trapped in it. She is easily frightened and has a tendency to jump to conclusions. Kion starts to approach Kovu, but he quickly leaves to catch up with his pride. Both of the lions are embarrassed, and walk back off to Pride Rock.

After Timon and Pumbaa meet for the first time, they see that Tatiana is still alive and rescue her from a cobra. Kiara doesn't believe Kovu would do a thing like that. I prefer this one's plot to the one in the first film! Simba and Nala have a daughter, Kiara. The two cubs laugh and Kiara playfully tags him. As the two wander to a body of water they are attacked by crocodiles. Simba climbs the log dam to safety and Kovu has a chance to attack him, but doesn't.

Desperate to be together, they must overcome the two obstacles that are keeping them apart: Kovu's mother, Zira, and Simba's prejudices against the Outsiders. Before the villainous hyena can harm Kiara, Kion comes to his sister's aid and is soon joined by the rest of the Guard, causing the hyenas to flee. Bunga is shown to be very adventurous and he rarely acts serious or even sits still, as he is always on the move, working off boundless energy and enthusiasm, and makes even the most dire of situations into a fantastic time.
As a cub, Kiara befriends Kovu and rescues him from a group of crocodiles. Kovu looks at their reflection, which has merged through the ripples. They may be from a straight to video sequel, but in my eyes, these two characters and their love story are just as strong as any theatrically released Disney film. Kovu is a bit uncertain about this large, Pride-Lander male. Later that day, Kovu returns to the Pride Lands with a fresh scar inflicted by Zira, denying that he had anything to do with the ambush.
Even after all the hate and lies Kiara and Kovu manage to show everyone that their love always finds a way. When Jasiri learns from Kion that Scar has returned, she and her clan form a hyena resistance to aid the Lion Guard and help defeat Scar. In The Lion King, he teaches Simba on what a king is supposed to be, and how the king is responsible for protecting and maintaining the delicate balance of the ecosystem, and mediate problems between its creatures. Kiara attempts to walk away, but the other lion blocks her, mirroring the actions of the two cubs years before. As they spend more time together, they reconnect as friends and grow closer. Instead, he became Scar's adopted son and heir.
She accepts his offer and suggests they start at dawn. After another argument with Kion who believes that Janja is up to no good , Kiara goes to Broken Rock to meet Janja, only to be ambushed by his clan. Zazu's blue feathers have been replaced with white and the puppet is partially constructed from parachute silk with a slinky contained in the neck for ease in movement. His name in Swahili means'buffoon'. On her first hunt, she pleads with her father to let her do it on her own. Later that night, when the lions fall asleep, Kovu appears in Simba's nightmare.
